Find Support

A diagnosis of of lung cancer is often devastating to those receiving the news, as well as friends and loved ones who care for them.  There is so much value in connecting with another person who has battled lung cancer and understands your feelings, someone who can help guide you through what can be an overwhelming task to face on your own.

In the St. Louis area, Lung Cancer Connection has partnered with the Cancer Support Community (formerly the Wellness Community) to underwrite a monthly lung cancer networking group. The goal of the group is to help meet patients' emotional challenges, as well as answer their many concerns related to medical treatments.

The networking group meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis, and each meetings is facilitated by both a licensed clinical social worker and an oncology nurse.   Attendance is free and open to lung cancer patients and those who care for them.  No registration is required.  The address is 1058 Old Des Peres Road, St. Louis, MO 63131.   For more information call 314-238-2000.
